Another week since I updated. Yikes.

I love all the bandom people who have been tweeting about the t-shirt to aid The Butcher. Today is the day &bandom; was made for.

A story I've read and loved recently is A Hero or a Grinder. Vandays Mikey/Gerard/Frank and it's all kinds of fantastic.

My wave 3 is at beta so in the lull between sending it there and editing I've been playing around with other stories. I've a few on the go at the moment, two with a nice chunk of stuff written, a few others that are just getting started. Also, prompted by Turlough I finally uploaded a load of old ficlets/comment fic to AO3. I wasn't sure how to upload as some are really short, so in the end I did a big chaptered story. Just, be warned if you read many are from a long time ago and most haven't been beta read.

I watched the Teen Wolf finale and liked it well enough, but was also underwhelmed at many points. Though I do want to read Peter/Derek for some reason.

Gerard's Spoilers interview was all kinds of fantastic. ♥ ♥ ♥

Also what I want, curtain fic at the compound. Not for any specific reason, just I want someone to tidy up those sad planters and discuss wall colours.

We got our car back today. The hire car we had was fine but it wasn't ours, plus, it had no CDs in it.

The motability scheme means you get a new car every three years so we ordered ours this week. We did ask about keeping the one we have now as it drives just fine and we like it, but it was a no go. Which is a pity as the deposits have gone up and we can't afford another people carrier. Not that we actually need one, but it's been very handy for carting scouts around. Anyway, we've gone back to Vauxhall and are getting a Meriva.

We're also getting a new shower as ours has broken. It was originally fitted by social services as part of the adaptions to the house but I wasn't sure if they'd fix it due to us owning the house now. But James called and they said they'll come look at it and if need be get it replaced. Which is good as while I enjoy baths in the summer I much prefer showers.

James finishes 6 days of day shifts today and no lie, I'm looking forward to my extra two hours of sleep tomorrow. I'm going to have so much pleasure changing that 5 to a 7.

To end

Yeah, and I want the family tree of the Hales, how big was the family - what relatives live elswhere and why, etc.

Re: the fic. I. Could be persuaded to noodle at this. Something.

And yes, the Hales were such a big pack, that there have to be other members out there, who for whatever reason didn't go looking for the survivors, which SUCKS, BTW.

I would definitely read compound curtainfic. Gerard with paint chips is always really excellent.

I have that story on my to-read list. I haven't been in the mood to read longer stories for a while now. I hope I will get back into it before the BBB posting starts.

Good luck with your writing!

I want compound fic too! Domestic GSF would be nice...

I hope you'll like your new car even though it's not as big as the old one.

I supose you mean six days of day shifts not day shirts, right? Having to get up at five in the mornings is inhuman!

Ways!!!
