I was so happy to see MCR are bringing out an official calendar this year. You know that baby is going on my wish list. ETA: Just checked and it's going to be sold at the usual calendar places in the UK. No expensive shipping for me :)

I did join up for stuffsit. I'm sure what I asked for and offered was pretty much exactly the same as the last time, but it's not like my tastes have changed in a year.







We ordered a new cat tree for the cats and it's due to be delivered sometime today. I've been keeping an eye on the tracking page but sadly once it's on the van it's just a case of sitting and waiting. Especially as I don't want to miss the delivery as I imagine the box is going to be big.

Yesterday Corey got the last parts he needed for a gaming computer he wanted to build. He's been saving up for ages and has been buying the stuff that he needed bit by bit. Last night he finally put it all together. No lie, I was impressed.

My niece ended up in hospital two nights ago. James was at work so was able to track the ambulance that was sent to take her in. It's how he knew that the ambulance was diverted for an actual good reason, but that doesn't really help when your ten year old niece is in pain and had to wait three hours for an ambulance after the first one sent got pretty much to the door and then drove away. But she's home now and hopefully fine.

Ah, the cat tree has just been delivered. I'm off to try and put it together. Hopefully I'll still have all fingers and thumbs when I'm done.

It does! I've just been looking online and it looks like it's going to be sold in shops over here. Hopefully it'll be the same for you. Because yeah, the shipping would have been more than the actual item if I'd bought it from the official store.

I've made and been given home made calendars in the past and really like them. So I'd support that route too.

Oh yes. Complete with a crows nest that gives extra height to look out the window. It also has a sort of box thing half way up that Tinker's made into her lair of evil. Any unsuspecting cat walks by and a foot gets extended out for a head swipe.

The shipping cost from the US is ridiculous. It's more than the calendar itself costs! If I order it through amazon.uk it will cost me less than half than if I'd done it from the US - and that's with Swedish VAT! So I just ordered it :-)

Your tastes might not have changed but you might have had new ideas for what you want surely? At least, I feel like I'm forever discovering new things I'd no idea I wanted until right then.

The shipping really is ridiculous. I was really happy to see it's going to be stocked by Calendar Club, because they have pop up stalls in all the main shopping areas.

Nope. There's nothing I've discovered that I want in the last year. I always stick to the same thing where I say h/c is my favourite but I'll happily read anything. Plus, I try not to get too specific in exchanges.

The cats are loving the tree. Though Milo is a bit put out because he doesn't really fit in the crow's nest. Not that it stops him trying to get in it *g*

Corey's at the stage of downloading all his games onto the computer so that's what he's doing today. He's worked hard to save up and then build the computer. Plus, they're good skills to have.

Totes ordered the calendar. There was no question I was going to get it--especially because the one for this year was a one sheet that some intern probably did. OTOH, it was something like $10?

Anyhoo, a proper calendar is a thing of awesome. I bought that one for one and my cute overload one for the office.

My stuffsit was almost exactly as the one from last year. I think I might've added a new pairing? But the rest was identical. Oh, I also offered to pitch hit 'cause you never know.

Yeah, Turlough got me the unofficial calendar last year and while I love it, it's really Gerard focused. Like, one month had a shot of Mikey and Gerard, the rest are Gerard only. No lie, I was tempted to leave it on Feb *g*

I'm thrilled they're bringing out an actual calendar this time instead of that sheet kind. Also, that the pictures look nice. The last actual calendar they had I think someone went effects crazy.

I'm holding on to buy one from the shops. Once I knew they'd be stocked anyway. otherwise I'd have ordered no matter the shipping cost.

It is. Though I'll be glad when he has his computer fully up and running. He's hit some bumps at the end of the process.
