I've used this icon so many times recently, and every time wonder how much Joe enjoyed walking around nearly naked.

I love the new song. I love all the new pictures and video. I love that my flist is full of ICH posts.

FOB \o/ ¹

I joined up for Get Mikey Laid and picked Frank/Mikey where Frank is a ghost. I've also dusted off my Pete/Mikey BBB file, though haven't actually added any words yet. But it'll happen soon I'm sure.

James is still off work and probably will be for a few weeks yet. Apart from his back issues his hand has started clawing up again, which was always a possibility, but his surgeon said last time there's not anything else they can really do. It's hit him really hard and for the first time since I've known him he's started saying he wishes he could take a tablet and make everything go away. Which yeah, I wish I could give him a hand that works, but sadly, they're both wishes that aren't going to happen.

It's Corey's 17th birthday in a few days and just, jfc, where has my kid gone?

Still on a YA dystopian reading kick and have been reading The Birthmarked series by Caragh M O'Brien and enjoying it so far. I should finish book two tonight and am looking forward to getting stuck into it again.

I should go kick James out of bed and then put away all the clothes I ironed yesterday. The excitement, man, it never ends.

Me too. I was looking at photos this morning where he's in front of the crowd, all reaching out to him, and it was so great to see.

I need a Fall Out Boy icon, I used to have them on my LJ, then again I used to have a paid account over there too. Seeing ICH all over my Flist again is a really wonderful feeling. And all the pictures and video from the first two shows too. They seem so happy again <3

My son will be 16 this month himself. It's crazy, right? I hope James feels better. I don't know the details, but my husband had a lot of back trouble that lead to him leaving his contracting job, and in the end having surgery. I know how hard that can be.

They do seem happy. I keep looking at all the pictures and so often they're smiling and enjoying being together. That's so fantastic.

I need to work out the actual plot for Frank as a ghost. I saw the prompt and knew I needed it, now to find the words to support that.

Even though I've always been more of a Patrick fan over Pete (or even FOB), it makes me tremendously happy to see the fen smiling and excited about the return of FOB. FWIW, I do like the new song a lot and, buoyed by the excitement on Twitter and DW, I managed to snag a tix to one of their gigs in the Summer.

My GetMikeyLaid bunny is nearly done settling in my mind. I'm hoping to get a-typing it down sooner rather than later.

YA dystopias were all the rage after the hunger Games thing. It's not the genre I read in YAs, but I'm glad that you've gotten a lot of different books to choose from. :)
