turpsIn an effort to remind myself I do know how to string words together, I did a sentence meme I saw on friendsfriends.
I'm sure I've done them before with more categories, but still, I had fun with this one.
Try to write different categories of fic (angst, fluff, UST, etc) in one sentence.
MCR centric, no warnings.
Angst
Depression, addiction, anger, illness, fear -- Ray loves that his band is so honest, especially as, with the focus on others, Ray can hide his own demons, the ones that cling on, burrowing in and unnoticed by all.
AU
Bob never wanted to leave them, but with the best will in the world, it's impossible to drum when you have claws.
Crack
It wasn't that the Ways were fairies that annoyed Frank -- hell, if he was honest it wasn't a surprise at all -- it was they wouldn't let him play with their wands.
Crossover
Getting kidnapped sucks, Ray's not going to deny that, but being rescued and flown to safety by Iron Man, okay, that's cool.
Death
Every time Kobra Kid gets ghosted, every time he takes that last painful breath, he worries that this time, Gerard won't be there when he wakes up.
Episode related -- I used videos instead.
Frank loves the thrill of rebellion, the exhilaration he feels as he stands spitting and screaming on stage -- it's then, throat raw and hands aching, he knows he's alive.
First time
Gerard's alone in his room when he takes his first drink: chest burning and blinking back tears, he swallows the cheap vodka, and waits to feel different, to be anyone but the person he is now.
Fluff
Mikey loves playing with hair, brushing and braids, tufted out top knots tied up with ribbon and string -- he loves doing them all -- it's why his models never say no, even if he does tug at times -- it's worth it to hear him hum happily as he works.
Humour
Frank's no stranger to make-up, but the kind he's wearing now is different, a slash of red over his lips, cheeks bright with colour, his eyes almost black -- Frank knows he looks like a clown, but that doesn't matter, not when his girls clap and say he looks like a princess.
H/C
Gerard knew setting out was a bad idea, it was too icy, too snowy to even think of making the journey, but the driver said he could cope: now Gerard's pinned to the floor, twisted metal around him and the taste of blood in his mouth as he takes a deep breath and starts to scream for the others. Bus crash story of my heart, I love you
Smut
Almost instantly Brian regrets clicking the sent link as he stares at the screen, headache surging as the video keeps playing -- naked bodies, pale skin, greasy hair and a come splattered chest -- showing things he knows he'll remember for life.
UST
"I don't know why you don't have a threesome already," Frank says, grinning as he watches the Ways stare at the one mug of coffee, "You know that you want to."
RL update later, now I'm going to stare at my bbb file for a long time.

I think about it often.
