Sometimes being in bandom is hard, but then other times, like right now. It's amazing.

When Gerard and Pete are talking on twitter and sharing pictures of short shorts, and Gerard tweeted pictures of Mikey in Aquabats, and this tweet.

I'm aware he looks like a Jedward wannabe. That does not bother me at all! In fact, if he wants to do a Jedward and dance in water with his bro, I'll be all over that.



James got home earlier and then crashed out on the couch while I dealt with his case while eating some delicious chocolate he brought home. He's awake now and checking through his photos, so, soon we're going to get a take away, and then, an early night I assume. But before that I intend to read more of the Percy Jackson series. I read book one yesterday, and have started number two today. It's so good.

Gerard needs to get to work on Mikey's hair right now. Wash, condition, cut and blow dry. With lots of nuzzling in-between.

I love the picture of Mikey. Not so much the people who seem to think it's his actual new band. You'd think they'd keep up with news better.

James had a lovely time, though as you know, suffered for it after.

This past weekend was GLORIOUS, wasn't it? I, for one, thought I was going to pass out due to all the FEEEEEELINGS I kept having. \Bandom/!

Gerard being totally happy for Mikeyway was super great to read about. FTR, I did think of Jedward as soon as I saw Mikeyway's pic (thought I only remembered them as the two twins with straight-up hair.) I do wish he had worn a dark brown wig with, like, an 80s metal style. OTOH, I guess the SPANDEX totes makes up for it. >:P

The past week was amazing! I know bandom has slowed to what it was, but it's still hopping, and has so many great things happening.

I wonder why they went that direction for his Aquabats hair? And if it was Gerard who styled it that way. Mikey would have looked amazing in 80's style metal hair, he's look great shaking his head with that.

But yes, spandex >:)
