turpsYesterday when out with dad and Pauline, dad fell. An ambulance took him to hospital and it turns out he's broken his hip. But also had a nasty chest infection and his health plummeted. At one point we were told to get the family in and he had hours to live.
We left the hospital around 3ish. And he held on. He's still really poorly, could still go at any time and I'm not ready. I'm not. As long as he hangs on tonight they'll operate on his hip tomorrow as he's in so much pain.
We're away from the hospital now because we've been there since 8am and nanna and my uncle have gone to see him, staying with Pauline an hour or so. But we'll go back soon.
Life is so unfair at times. So fucking unfair.
