Snowflake Challenge -- day two

Day 2

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.

(1) Comments to my fic. I love getting them so much, and getting unexpected comments about old stories always makes my day. They're also a nice reminder that I used to be okay at that writing lark which will hopefully kickstart my writing brain again.

(2) Rec me stories you think I'll enjoy. My bandom people will know what I like, but briefly, Mikey centric, love waybros, Frank/Mikey, Mikey/Pete, h/c and loads of other stuff, but no bad Bob or mean characterisation of the awesome ladies. Any recent stories will be especially welcome. Away from bandom I'm also still enjoying reading Aramis centric Musketeer fic.

(3) Artwork for my stories. I know I've asked for this in previous challenges but I'd especially love art of Mikey and Frank from Tints verse. Mainly because I've such a clear vision of them in my head but sadly don't have the artistic ability to transfer that onto the page.

(4) Magic Mike fic for Ken/Mike, drabbles, ficlets or epics I want it all.

I've read a bit of your stuff from when I was an antisocial lurker too nervous to comment on anything - will get right on 1. Perhaps I'll start with the one where Mikey crossdresses... *sighs dreamily* :)

And re: 2, Tell Me I'm A Bad Man by LadySmutterella is recent and a personal fave. Gerard likes to watch and Mikey likes to show off. Frank accidentally gets gets caught in the middle. Cue porn and angsty feels and my heart swelling three sizes.

I don't remember, did I ever rec you dear_monday's Supernatural/Lovecraftian/voodoo fusion Something Wicked This Way Comes? I just re-read it and I absolutely love the way Gerard and Mikey's relationship is written in it. The pairing might be Gerard/Frank but the relationship between the Waybros is much more important for the characters and take up much more time and space.

I've put your works list on AO3 in a tab to be pondered for potential art making.

You're an amazing writer, Terri. I've always thought so, and just because you haven't been in the headspace to create doesn't lessen your talent. You have to cut yourself some slack, your real life has been bumpy the last couple of years, and that often has a negative effect on creative output.

One day you'll wake up and the urge to create will be strong, and you'll write again.

I've a glimmer of that urge to create starting to appear. It's not constant yet, not like it was in the past when I used to write for hours and even write with a pen and any paper to hand when out and about. But at least I'm thinking about it, and that's a big jump from nothing at all.

Have you read breathtaken's fic? She's a great Aramis-obsessed Musketeers writer. I really like All Of Us, which I don't recall as Aramis-centric, although much of her fic is. It's really good, though. She writes a lot of AUs and I'm not much of an AU reader, but all her canon-era fic that I've read is fab.

I also like this one: liminality, which is Aramis-centric.

AUs are one thing I haven't tried with the Musketeers yet so I'm not sure if I'll like them or not. But it's great knowing if I do try it'll be a story from a good writer.
