Snowflake Challenge -- day nine

To write more this year. To fill prompts at bandom meme, to write for BBB or any other fannish thing that catches my interest.
To keep on reading and leaving feedback on the stories I've enjoyed.
I've many many tabs open containing stories. I need to get those read.
To post on here more. I used to post daily for a very long time, but then got out of the habit.

Personally, to have confidence in myself and try to remember I'm doing okay. That just because I'm not at the point I think I should be that doesn't mean that I'm failing.

I got my picfor1000 assignment today and you can see it here.

Initial thoughts were, Gerard the street artist, but I don't know yet. This challenge usually takes me in other less obvious directions.

For newbies, this is challenge 14 and I've been writing for it since challenge 4, so a very long time. It was also the challenge that prompted me to post my very first official bandom story. That was a Way bros centric thing, and ever since I've written something that's focussed on them as my very own personal challenge. Off the top of my head that's included, Mikey with no memory, robot!Gerard, mermen Ways, shapeshifting sheep Ways, keepers of a magical laundrette Ways, post apoc Ways, age regressed Mikey. So you know, anything goes really.

And for all of you people who've read me explain this multiple times over the years, you can wake up now. Until I post my story then you'll have to read it all over again *g*

Today I'm waiting in for a parcel while James takes Corey to the walk-in centre. He's supposed to be going back to uni this week but was really ill yesterday and his tonsils are swollen and covered in white crud, so I suspect a tonsillitis diagnosis may be coming.

Picfor1000 is the one challenge I've managed every year, even though it was late once, so something will be posted. I just have to decide what.

Happy anniversary! The shapeshifting Way sheeps and age-regressed Mikey are probably my favourites of your picfor1000 stories. Though you've written so many I'm sure there must be some I've forgotten.

I need to sit and think about the picture for a while, probably once snowflake is over. No doubt something weird will catch my attention.

I couldn't believe I'd been doing the challenge for 10 years. That's a lifetime in fannish time. I love the shapeshifting sheep too. Though I also really like robot Gerard for the style of writing.

Corey's on the mend. He did have severe tonsillitis so he's been mooching around the house wrapped up in his dressing gown the last few days.

I've really enjoyed how active DW and LJ have been due to the challenge. I'd love to see that continue.

This is so hard for most of us, bb. But you're not doing okay, you're actually doing great. Write that on a post-it, stick it to the edge of your monitor where you'll see it a lot. <3
