turpsThe first chapter of Kings Rising has been put online. I don't know whether to read or wait until Feb, because if I do read I'll want more, and Feb 2nd isn't that far away. But still. It's right there!
I've done none of what I planned in my last post. Mam's been getting some decorating done and also bought a new couch and chair, so I've got the foam from her old couch to add to my ridilously low couch with the squashed flat cushions. I've brought the foam home over the last two days, and now the couch is looking a teeny bit higher cushion wise.
I really like this photo of Mikey with a fan. Way to go looking happy in a fan photo MWay, it's very lovely to see.
Does anyone watch Code Black? I've been recording it for a while but have just watched all the eps on my dvr and I've only one ep left. This watching in real time is for the birds!
Mam's at hospital today getting tests done on her lungs, and then will need to back soon for tests on her stomach. Some of you may remember three years ago they thought she had lung cancer. She went for loads of tests, scans
and appointments and had a specialist nurse and everything, but then they decided it was just fungus on her lungs and some kind of donut scarring thing. Well, she had to go for a scan on new years eve and a few days after that was told to go to the hospital the next day and see a consultant. It seems the thing in her lung has grown and her stomach lining is thick, so she's having all these tests to see what's up.
Just before Christmas Kayleigh was suspended from work, and then was finally sacked a few days ago. Timing wise it's the worst and she's finally top of the housing list and is going to see a house she really wants next week. She's well qualified so should get a new job pretty soon, and will get housing benefit until then, but even so, she'll have close to no money to actually furnish and pay bills for her own house. Plus, she's just found her ex partner has been cheating on her for most of their relationship, so Kayleigh's not having a good week this week.
As for me, I need to go and clean the cat litter trays, I've been putting it off long enough.

Poor Kayleigh, sounds like it's all coming at once - hopefully this is the bottom and things turn a corner up now.

Yeah, it really has came all at once. But it does look like she's going to get a house next week and can move out of mam's at last.

Nice to see a smiling Mikey, but what is it with the face growth? Neither of the Way brothers should ever try to grow a beard!
That sounds a bit worrying but hopefully there is nothing major wrong with your mam.

Date: 2016-01-23 03:32 pm (UTC)It was a bit fiddly, but it's done now. We're actually planning to get a new couch relatively soon as I'll be getting money from dad's estate. Not much, but enough for some improvements at least. So until then, the foam stuffing will do.
It is nice to see him looking so comfortable in a fan photo. But have to agree, the beard is a bit dodgy looking.
Well, she's got an appointment to discuss the results mid Feb, so I'm holding onto the idea it can't be that serious.
I felt so bad for Kayleigh, she should be thrilled at getting her house, but instead is dealing with cheating and no job.

But when nanna comes to visit I have to pile up the scatter cushions so she gets those extra inches and get up. Same with the in-laws. I had to physically pull my FiL up one time, and since then he tends to perch on the arms.

Mikeyway looks so wanna be!dude bro that it makes me laugh. He looks v. healthy and at peace. Why he decided to attempt growing a beard only the universe knows. After all, the fact that Way bros are incapable of growing any kind of decent-looking face fuzz is well documented. #IJS

Mikey looks great. But I have to agree about the beard. I mean, just why? I always find him attractive but I don't get this urge for facial hair, especially as it always looks so weird. You'd think both Way bros would have realised by now that they're just not beard people!
