turpsIf it wasn't for the fact the series is finished I would have said Sons of Anarchy would have been my new fandom. Sadly it seems the fandom is pretty much non-existent and the fic I want to read not there. I mean, it could be there but I'm so wary of spoilers that I'm not looking too hard. Which is, if you have any recs for Opie/Jax season 3 and before I'd love to know them, because right now I want to read and see everything about them.
I was already enjoying them and then Opie carried Jax and all my kinks sat up and said, hello there! But I'm watching and get tense every episode and know it's going to repeatedly rip out my heart. The last ep of season 2. Woe! And nothing good ever seems to happen for them and Jax is this murderous bundle of anger but he has that smile and his bro and just... this show. It's going to break me I know. And I do actually know as I've gathered up a few non specific spoilers that make me ache just thinking about them. So no spoilers, please. If you do know you can sit there and pity me for what's coming.
It's also made me need to watch the British version of QoF again, so I've been watching clips this afternoon which led to the funniest video title, Jax in the shower with Littlefinger. Which I couldn't even watch due to C4 region restrictions even though c4 is a UK company. Fail channel 4. FAIL! How am I going to get my Nathan and Stuart fix now? Well, apart from watching all the other clips on there, obviously!
How did I not fall for this show when it was airing? It's to cry.
With that out my system, I'm off to watch the latest Legends of Tomorrow that aired here. James will be back from scout camp soon and I'll have dirty clothes and supplies and a load of stuff to help deal with. So I'm going to take this last hour of peace.
And maybe watch the gif of Opie carrying Jax a few more times.

I hope your last hour of peace was fortifying enough to let you deal with all the mess when James came home :-)

Yeah, I often wonder that too. I mean, I can still remember the posts Fi and Jessa etc were posting, but somehow it took ages to make the jump.
I did enjoy my last hour of peace. Then James came home with his muddy gear, stripped, and was fast asleep on the couch within minutes.

Date: 2016-03-22 12:59 pm (UTC)At the con this weekend, I ended up In a small fandom panel, and I asked them to define small. Their definition was miniscule, and I was like, "Hmmm, what miniscule fandom shave I been in recently?" I had totally forgotten MMXXL until I looked at my recent fan works!

Poor MMXXL. Now that I'll never understand. It has everything needed for a fannish explosion, but nope.
Hee. The person who plays Jax also played Nathan in QAFUK. I've been reading some interviews with the cast lately and Charlie ( Jax) was asked if he'd dropped out of being Grey in 50 Shades of Grey because he was ashamed of the sex scenes, and he replied one of his first jobs had him being fucked in the ass when he was supposed to be 15, so nope. You can't really argue with that.
