We're taking my nephew to York Railway museum tomorrow. It's not the best timing as James doesn't finish work until 2am and won't be home until 3, but my nephew's dad is coming up to see him Saturday and Sunday we try to keep for family visiting.

Corey and his friends have put their names down for a house. They've paid to get it taken down off the listings so now it's a case of filling in forms and gathering money. I was talking to him earlier and he was saying how he'll be able to buy his Download tickets soon because he'll be getting a full terms grant but the term finishes mid May. When I asked if that meant he'd be coming home then he said yes, but would be going to stay in his halls flat on the nights he's socialising in Newcastle. The kidlet has his head screwed on that's for sure. And I need to remember that when I worry about them having to deal with utilities next academic year.

We went to see Batman v Superman yesterday and I liked it, especially the second half. Very brief spoiler just in case I loved Wonder Woman so much! She kicked ass and I was delighted watching her fight to her own music. I couldn't look away from her any time she was on the screen.

We saw the movie at the imax and it was pretty full. When the trailers were on a couple had tickets for the couch along from ours. The couches don't flip up like the regular seats, but there's still loads of leg room. Despite that both managed to stamp on my feet, the woman knocked James' full popcorn to the floor and then they both sat and waited for the cinema lady who was carrying their nachos to get past too instead of reaching out to take them off her. And of course neither said sorry for any of it.

James got him unlimited cinema card yesterday, too. I don't need one as I get in free as his carer. It made sense as we've been to see 3 films in the last few weeks, and have two more we want to see that are out this week. We won't be using the gallery every time though. A person can't live on nachos alone.

I posted the Musketeers story I've been poking at for a while. It's a five thing fill for the prompt meme, but I've only written two of the things. But as they've been sitting in my gdocs for ages and the fandom is very wip heavy I decided to just post them. And within hours am on track to get more comments and kudos than my last bandom stories. I suppose this means I need to write the other three things now.

Ooh, railway museum! I hope you all have fun despite James' sleep deprivation! (And that he can maybe have a nap after.)

Sounds like Corey and his friends have things all figured out! So impressed.

Noooo! How can you smash my dreams so casually, T?!?!?! *G*

Have fun at the museum!! I love trains, so we should visit it the next time I visit you. :-)

Corey, acting all grown-up! Go him.

Ahahaha, isn't it always the way? Something you ache over barely causes a blip, but a comment-fic gets kudos galore. I'm glad it was appreciated though. Good luck thinking of 3 more things.

I hope you'd lots of fun at the museum. (Trains rock!)

Look at Corey being all responsible and adult. You've raised him well it seems.

Ugh, people like that ought to stay at home where they can't bother anyone else!

You posted a wip?! I'm shocked! But yay! for getting lost of kudos and comments!
