We're getting the stairs, hallway and passage wallpapered and painted on the 1st. On the 12th they're coming to fit our new bathroom. While the second is closer to Christmas than I'd like, neither are big worries, but it did occur to me that it meant we'd need to get a lot of present buying etc done before Dec, so that's what we've been doing.

As of now the majority of stuff has been bought, cards are bought, and the ones that have to travel the furthest sent away, which astounds me as I'm never that organised. We've started to buy non perishable, good dated food stuff and put it to one side. Of course having the new Lidl so close helps with that, I mean, their Christmas range is right there! So we have stolen and all kinds of lovely things ready for various gatherings and buffets.

I've walked the Metrocenter loads lately, though the busiest day James was in his wheelchair and I forgot my fitbit steps wouldn't count as my hand is always still on the handle. Sadness! I'm sure that would have been another 10k step day. I've also bought another dress, which is gorgeous, but also silly as it won't fit soon. But, it's so lovely and I love it so.

We went to see Fantastic Beasts in 3D Imax yesterday, which I really enjoyed.

Mini nano is still going well and my bandom holidays story is almost finished.

It's my first post op hospital check tomorrow. I've things to say about that, but I'll wait until then.

And finally, I'll be putting a holiday card address post soon. So look out for that.

I hope it does go smoothly. At least we have two toilets so that won't be an issue, but the bath will be out of commission for a week D:

Mini nano has helped loads for bandom holidays. I've been waking up and cranking out a few hundred words, and they've added up to a nice story.

Yep, lots of changes. Then after I posted this we learned someone will phone tomorrow to do the financial assessment for the hi-tech toilet. Though I doubt that will happen until next year.

I'm sure things will look great when they're finished. Until then we're at the stage where things look terrible with unfinished walls and stuff everywhere.

I'm amazed myself at getting the cards out. They're not all done yet, but the ones travelling half the world are on their way.

So many cool things being done to your house. You're going to have a completely new home by Christmas, yay! (But no bath for a week? However are you going to cope?!!)

It must have been quite hectic trying to do everything you would ordinarily have the whole of December to do in just a couple of weeks. It's no wonder you've been quiet lately! And I can well imagine how much you must have walked. And yay for a new dress! Even if you won't fit into it for a wile yet.

And it's great to hear your nano writing is going well and that your bandom holiday story will soon be finished. With everything going in your life right now I'm really impressed you're still getting writing done, go you!!

I'm so bad at looking at DW I didn't know you'd had an operation! I hope it's all going well.

Everything should hopefully look lovely for Christmas. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because we're planning a gathering at our house for family and friends around the 23rd. As for the bath, with living less than a minute walk to mam's she's said I can go and use hers. Though considering how cold and dark it'll be after the fitters have gone I suspect it won't be nightly like I do at home.

Well, the dress fits now, but I know it'll be too big within a month or so. I was discussing that with the ladies in the shop and they said it could be easily taken in, so I indulged. Probably shouldn't have, but it's a style and brand that I've always loved but they didn't go up to my size before. Even so, no more clothes shopping for me!

Thank you! I've been writing in the mornings and those little chunks have led to a nice story. It should be finished soon, unless I slow my writing down to only a 100 words a day until the end of mini nano *g*

I had a gastric bypass about two months ago now, but things are going fine now.

It really will be busy. The decorator is nearly finished doing the hall and stairs now. So that's one job done, just the big one to start!
