Today, Costa are giving away free Terry's Chocolate orange muffins if you're called Terry, Terri, Teri. Great you'd think, but they're only doing so in four locations, and as much as they sound delicious, I'm not about to travel to York -- the nearest location -- to get a freebie.

I need to give attention to both as I just saw the posts skimming, as things have been busy lately, so sorry in advance when I overload everyone with comments when I catch up. By which I especially mean, sorry, Dine!

RL wise, things got much better for James, the med changes helping, as was the counselling, and then yesterday was a day. Starting when we drove all the way to Newcastle for his limb centre appointment first thing in the morning, only to find we were 24 hours early, then he thought his OC health appointment for work was today, but was actually yesterday. Which suggests somehow he mixed up the two dates in his head. His work couldn't fit him in yesterday once he realised, so he can't see their doctor until the 27th, and they won't let him back until he's been to that appointment. So, on one hand, he's got all of Christmas off, on the other, that mix up pushed him back mental health-wise big time. Thankfully OC health have been great and this set back suggests that it probably would have been a little early to go back anyway if one mistake sends him spiralling. So, new plan is to be phased back for over New Year, when they're really busy, and have next year as a fresh start.

We also missed the funeral of one of our neighbours due to being at the limb center this morning. She was such a lovely older lady, and I'm going to miss talking to her.

But more good things, I saw Charlie's Angels and enjoyed it a lot, our tree is up and the house is looking very sparkly, and tonight I'm off to sibs dinner with Chris and Kayleigh. So really, things could be a lot worse.

I'm glad to hear that James is doing better, and hopefully will continue to do so, and return to owrk in great shape.

I wonder if Costa will expand the availability of the Terry's muffins? because while it's too far for you to drive now, don't you deserve a freebie? yes, yes, you do.

Everyone agrees it's better if he's 100% ready to go back before going back. One of his problems has been going back before he was actually ready and then having to go sick again. Which causes worse issues in the long run in terms of sickness.

They should do, as you're right, I do deserve a freebie. Especially so as people keep linking me to the offer not realising no stores nearby are taking part.

I know, right? It was such a good promo idea, and I get that they would need to cut down on locations so too many weren't given away. But four shops in the whole country was a bit much.

He did find it hard to hake off the mixup. The timing really wasn't great at all.

But yes, a sparkly house helps a lot. Though, I'm sure all the lights aren't helping our electricity bill.

It was a terrible tease! Can never find pre-made stuff with my name on, now muffins have been taken from me. It's hard to be a terri!

It was a very frustrating setback as he's been doing so well lately. But, the extended time off could be a good thing in the end.

I had a lovely dinner, but with that one and the one tomorrow I need some plain food for a while next week.

That is so unfair!! Totally silly to just do it in four locations! (And speaking of chocolate oranges, it's something I've always wanted to try but I've never seemed able to to find any when I'm in the UK. Do they only sell them at Christmas?)

Yeah, they do only sell the chocolate oranges at Christmas. You may be lucky and get a few leftovers in January, but after that they're not around until the end of the year.

That's one good thing I'm taking from this. If he had gone back and hit a bump I suspect he would have been right back to square one. At least this way he's at home and can talk through things with his counsellor and doctor.

I'd love to know their reasoning for only four locations. I would have understood them limiting it so not all shops were doing the giveaway, but four places for the whole country was far too restrictive.

It was such an annoying mix up too. If he'd have realised he needed to go to work that afternoon we could have easily stayed close to the hospital and waited a few hours. As it was we'd driven all the way home when he got the phone call and realised.

I agree with you, the break should do him a whole lot of good, especially as it's work that's said not to go back until that time, and it's not him making the decision.

It was an excellent film. I enjoyed it much more than I expected.

James very much enjoyed the peace. He was at work yesterday to see their doctor and hopefully plans are in place for him to be eased back from next week.
