Challenge #3: Pimp Your Favorite Communities, Fests or Challenges! Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so

I've been thinking about this and below are some comms and challenges I like. All have been posted by other people on my flist, but I figure better a few times than not at all.

[community profile] no_tags the flash bandom challenge. I love this, low pressure and a whole lot of fun.

[community profile] hc_bingo bingo challenge of my heart and it's run so incredibly well. I suck at actually getting a bingo but I still keep signing for the thrill of that shiny h/c card.

[community profile] mychemicalromance_daily Turlough has been running this forever and if you want daily photos of MCR it's the place to be. The tags are a thing of beauty, Turlough having the kind of organisation skills I want to have when I grow up.

[community profile] hurtcomfortex Just like it says, an exchange for h/c fans. I have to admit, I did find the format a bit confusing to join but that's more I wasn't used to A03 based challenges based on tags.

I intend to look through answers soon and hopefully will find some new shiny comms and challenges to check out.

This morning was, meh. We went to the limb centre, James had his new leg checked, some parts changed on his old one. Left there to go to Metrocentre as we had tickets booked to see Jo Jo Rabbit. Got there and James went to park in an end disabled bay and totally misjudged and bashed into a railing, severely denting Clem's front panel and scraping a long gouge. Thankfully the car is drivable and all the damage will be covered by Motability, including getting a hire car when ours goes to be fixed next week. But we still need to pay an excess of £100 which is the last thing we needed right now. And, I didn't get to see the film as we had to come home and do a load of phone calls. It could have been so much worse, but even so, bah!

Oh now, that sounds awfully upsetting and frustrating! I'm glad the damage isn't worse, but I'm sorry you have to face that strain and hassle.

I'm sorry about the car but I'm glad it was a parking mishap not something nasty on the motorway and that you're both okay.

I'm sad to have to tell you that I'm thinking of closing the comm down in February. Ten years is a good long run for a daily pic comm and the anniversary at the end of that month seems like a fitting day to do it on. (Also, organisation rulez! :-)

Oh no!! How incredibly frustrating and annoying for you! You REALLY didn't need any more bills right now! It could of course have been much worse but it must still feel a bit annoying. You have all my sympathy!
