Jan. 10th, 2020 05:41 pmI should have left the Snowflake from yesterday for today, then I'd have something to talk about.
Sadly I've done very little today that's of note. It was the first hard frost of the year, so walking to the shops for cat food meant slip-sliding over the bridge from the estate. I met a lady on the bridge and we gave the nod of solidarity and quick heads up of slippy patches as we both shuffled in different directions while hanging onto the railing on the slope part.
I haven't even managed to watch anything, so I've no idea where time has gone. It's just sort of slipped away.
I am considering buying a new mouse. I've got a cordless version and thought the batteries must be going as occasionally the cursor is jumping. But, two different battery changes later and it's still happening. So it may have to be a new one as I keep having to undelete emails when the cursor goes wild and deletes two at once.
I also read more about MCR's teasing insta/twitter/FB posts about coming to the UK in June. I love that they are teasing and have this whole mysterious thing going, but at the same time, I want details.
It's the wolf moon tonight and as it's not cloudy the view should be good. So, at some point tonight I'll be standing on the doorstep while wrapped in my dressing gown while staring at the sky.

Date: 2020-01-10 08:22 pm (UTC)Time feels like it’s slipped for me too
When I first read that I thought you said house so I had to do a double take! That sounds so annoying. I’ve had bad luck with wireless mouses
Yeah the teases!
Ohh nice! Alas it’s too cloudy here

Date: 2020-01-11 01:37 pm (UTC)It was just one of those days I think, time sliding on by.
Ha, I could do with a new house too. But, at least the mouse is easily replaced.
Sadly it clouded over here too. But I saw some of it, so that was good.

Date: 2020-01-11 01:36 pm (UTC)Me either! I was reading FB and just saw an older man fell and wiped out on the bridge in the afternoon, cracking his head open. They really need to get more salt down when it's icy.

Date: 2020-01-11 06:32 am (UTC)Give us deets so we can make plans, boys!!
Now I'm picturing you as the heroine of a gothic novel, in your dressing gown under the moon.

Ahahaha, well, I'd take that even if the reality is a fuzzy dressing gown and damp hair as I stand shivering on the doorstep.

Date: 2020-01-23 11:10 pm (UTC)There are days like that: where you wake up and, next thing you know, it's almost dinnertime and you're like WTF HAPPENED TO THE REST OF THE DAY.
Also, yup, that mouse sounds like it's on its way out. I gotta go get me a cheap new one cuz mine (which is wireless) has fallen onto the floor (which is tile) a few many times and now it's only working every other click and the scroll wheel has gotten cranky.
I saw via Frank's Insta (during one of those rare moments I'm over there) that tickets are going on sale sometime tomorrow for a June gig. O___O!

Sperrywink was a star and sent me an unneeded one of hers and it made such a difference. I hope you have a new one by now too, there's nothing worse than having a mouse acting up on you.
It feels like months have gone by since they started to tease with dates and tickets. Now there is a tour to look forward to which remains amazing.
