Snowflake Challenge 8
Jan. 15th, 2020 01:19 pmChallenge #8
Rec at least three fanworks that you didn’t create. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
I followed a bit of a theme here.
Run the Doldrums by
teigh_corvus -- MCR, bandom, Mikey/Bob. This was an easy one as I just finished a reread this morning after T mentioned the story in one of their Snowflake posts. I love this universe so much, T has a beautiful way with words and all the descriptions are so vivid. This is one of the kinds of bandom story I love most, with Bob and mentions of Brian, Bert etc and the group very much being together. All with the addition of other, which T is so good at.
Change by the_original_n_chan. I think I may have read this due to a rec from Dine, but this is Leverage where Eliot is a werewolf. A nice length and pretty great in the reactions from Hardison and Parker.
Pack Bonding by flawedamythyst. Winterhawk where you can be both a natural and made shifter.
Lost and Found by mariana_oconnor Another winterhawk featuring shifters. I love this one loads, like, a lot. It's long and compelling and I've reread it a few times now.
Next Year is Hawaii by brandywine. Popslash, Chris/Lance. Not a shifter fic, but one I read and enjoyed recently. Brandywine has such a delicate touch with humour. I loved this a lot and it made me laugh often as I imagined Lance playing host and Chris hiding away in the kitchen.
This last one isn't an actual rec, but something great I fell across while network surfing. White Collar is a show that I read every now and then and while this is old, someone created a masterlist of White Collar h/c stories sorted by injuries and illnesses and it's a thing of beauty.

And I obviously approve of your theme. ;D
Lost and Found is such a fantastic fic. It's one that I return to, too. Thank you for pointing me in its direction last Snowflake. <3
