I joined back in 2002, but the first date in that year was after August, so, I'm showing two dates. The first from the year of joining, the second on the actual 28th of August the next year.
I'll cut because, man, I posted a lot back then.
September 28th 2002 - this was actually my first ever post, who would have thought I'd still be wittering on 18 years later?
So here I am, first entry, haven't a clue what I'm doing really. I've thought about getting an account for a while, but I'm just too tight to buy one. Note to self--must thank Heuradys for the code that's let me do this for free.
Looking at my page it's looking a little,shall we say boring. Must find out how to put a picture on at least.
Might as well say what's been going on, it's what I've got this for. Nothing exciting today, went to Ikea for some photo frames--yeah my life is exciting, why do you ask--let me tell you something, Ikea on a Saturday is hell on earth. Packed with people, all jammed round the products. I can't believe I suffered all that for some frames, thing is, I have a store card there and no money right now, so the choice was limited. Oh well they're bought now.
Fandom wise I'm still waiting on one of my beta's for my new Sentinel slash story. She said Sunday, so I'm hoping it'll be posted by the end of the week. I hope so, I'm at the stage where I want it out there. Does anyone else get sick of their own stories after a while, because I do.
I'm also in the middle of about 3 Mutant X slash stories, god Brennan has to be the horniest man but I seem incapable of actually finishing a story, maybe because I know I'll have no interest in it when it's posted. The drawbacks of a tiny fandom.
I'm going to get some writing done now, answer some over due mails, and see how you post this thing. God I'm so clueless.

Have such an exciting day ahead (/sarcasm)
A family friend is coming to clean all the carpets in the house, which is good as they need it, but also bad as he's an annoying hyperactive sleazeball.
I have to go clean upstairs before he gets here, especially my bedroom, don't want anything incriminating to fall out of the bedside cabinet when it's moved *g*
Corey's room is being changed too, I spent last night going through his stuff and hardening my heart to throw things away. But he's growing up now and doesn't need or want Winnie the pooh on his wall anymore :(
Discovered just how much he's growing when we went school uniform shopping yesterday as he's jumped up two sizes since last year. All he needs now is his shoes, shirts and jumpers and he gets the last two from the school as they have the school logo on.
My brother's best friend came out to him yesterday. He's sort of bemused by the idea of S having a boyfriend but he's fine with it. Just wants to tell everyone, and they say men don't gossip.
Sigh, I'm putting off getting up and actually cleaning. Bad Terri, get off the computer. Okay, talking to myself now, that can't be good *g*

After all the cleaning up the guy doing the carpets isn't coming until tomorrow. At 9 in the morning. Which is bad as right now I'm tired and could do with a lie in tomorrow. My own fault, I didn't go to bed until after 3 last night even though I knew I had to get up early.
I blame Chris Kirkpatrick, I'm laughing at myself as a few weeks ago I commented to rhiannon_jehane how I didn't like Nsync, just BSB and now I'm sitting into the early hours reading through every Chris archive that I can find. Last night I had the Trickyfish, Choey and TrickC archives open and was working my way through them. I'm enjoying most of the pairings, well as long as Chris is involved, but must admit that Trickyfish is the one that's catching my interest. I'm tempted to write one but am restraining myself until I do the stories that I've listed now.
Now must go and get coffee before I face plant on the keyboard *g*

Forgot to mention. When I was cleaning my bedroom I found a my stash of Poltergeist the Legacy slash stories that I printed when I first came online. What's funny is what's on the back of one, the first fanfic I ever tried. This was years before I tried for real, and no wonder I gave up.
It's Voyager, and in the first page I have a Marty Sue *g* I only found one page which is probably just as well. I'll have to type it up then when I think I'm not improving at writing I can just look at that. But yes, the first page has Chakotay and Janeway in negotiation with this alien, and he's over 7 foot tall with ebony hair. Yes ebony, no black in Marty Sue land *g* Huge eyes, tall, what was I thinking?
I think I'm going to upload it to FFNet and say I'll do no more unless I get 5 positive reviews. I'll need a name too, how about Voyagerchickadee?
Hee, what a blast from the past.
In conclusion, I still babble on about the same things mostly, while I love trickyfish I went on to be a trickc person big time and am fondly smiling at reading about the start of my popslash time that went on for many years and introduced me to amazing people who became steadfast and good friends.
It also needs to be noted, I never went on to become Voyagerchickadee. I feel I missed a trick there.
