Oct. 5th, 2020 05:59 pmI got a phone call from the vet today about Murphy. His samples came back infection-free so the vet suspects he may be sensitive to some kind of food. Problem is, finding out what kind of food that is. So, she's going to send out a diet sheet and he needs to be on an elimination diet for three weeks at a time as we look into what causes him the problems. Poor guy, he loves to eat, which no doubt is part of the problem as he'll give anything a go.
Other than that, it's been a day. This morning the mortgage broker person phoned to take details and will get back to us when they've looked into things, so fingers crossed. We arranged for someone to go fix my In-Laws tumbler as theirs has gone off and neither of them were making any attempt to arrange a repair or replace. James also started to look into what would have to happen to get them into some kind of assisted living because their living situation remains horrible. Though of course, when told what needed to happen neither would agree to even start the first steps, which is, my MiL needs carers to help get her moving. But, the first move has been found out and told, now it's up to them.
I called in to Poundland as they have products that are Lush dupes. I know they won't be the same and most of the bath range had been sold already so the selection was low, but you can't beat the price so I'm giving them a go.
Then home as James had a really bad pain night last night. Which we both hope means the last stone is finally moving. He's at his test first thing tomorrow morning, but thankfully it's at the walk-in centre in town which means a journey all of five minutes at most, so we won't have to leave too early.

Date: 2020-11-14 01:35 pm (UTC)Murphy does okay on his diet now. But only because I feed the wet food to the other two upstairs. Which isn't ideal, but wet food plays havok with Murphy's stomach.
