So MCR's cryptic message meant a new stadium tour for next year. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for new music, but am happy at the thought of more new photos and video next year. To the surprise of no one, this news led me to a YouTube spiral of watching MCR, FOB and Cobras perform at the When We Were Young festival, Gabe throwing up fangs, Pete being Pete and Mikey still a hot ass. I very much enjoyed wallowing in nostalgia and turning back the clock a decade.

Which leads to another not surprise when I say, show yourself RyRo, complete my nostalgia love circle.

In real life news, Kevin is keeping me on my toes lately.

On Monday we were at weight management class, came back, and he did this weird thing where he shot off backwards. I thought something had startled him, but then he kept doing it, so I Googled, and it suggested it could be a sign of an ear infection, so phoned the vet for some advice, and they said to bring him in. Thankfully, Kayleigh was around, as she'd been cleaning up the resin powder that hurricane Bodhi had let loose. So we drove to Simply Cats, Kevin had a good check up, and nothing was actually wrong with him.

He hasn't done the backwards move again, but on occasions his back leg did jerk a little and Kayleigh said while we were out he was rough housing with Murphy, and I wonder if Murphy nipped him on the leg or something. Kevin's fine now, is jumping and weight baring fine, and was given a clean bill of health by the vet. But it was such a weird thing to see.

Then this morning, the vet practice that did his eye op phoned me. A fortnight ago, when Kev had his non eye discharge, the vet said she'd contact the other vet for more comprehensive notes to see if they'd deliberately left an opening for drainage. Apparently, it's taken that vet two weeks to deal with the message, and when they phoned thought I wanted to change practice to them, which, just no. I love my cats only vet.

But, that's been sorted too now, and Kevin looks a picture of health after all the vet visits.

James had his first physio appointment yesterday. We were both a bit dubious if it would be worth it as he's not allowed to loosen the lock on the robot arm any more until he sees the consultant next Monday, so wouldn't be able to do any exercises. But, it was actually a really positive appointment. It meant the physio could do base measurements so she knows where she's starting from next week -- his next physio appointment is next Tuesday morning -- and was confident that as long as there's no major issues on the x-ray, he should be able to take the brace off for periods of time, build his arm strength up, and can see no reason why he can't start driving for short periods again as his hand grip is still strong, it's just the brace stopping any upward movement so he can comfortably use the steering wheel.

I need to go in with him next time to learn the exercises too so I can help him do them, which is fine. So yeah, positive, even if we got the usual, this is going to take a really long time to fully heal, warning.

Today, I've just come home after meeting Pauline and her daughter for lunch. It was okay, we went to a pub in town and I had a veggie wrap. Which came with rounds of carrot in it, which seemed a choice, but tasted okay.
