It's freezing today. It snowed all day yesterday and now everythings frozen. Watching the news some people have been stuck on the motorways for over 17 hours, nightmare! You'd think that the roads would be gritted before the snow comes down, but no, seems being prepared is too much for our government.

I'm going nowhere today, just slobbing in the house, keeping warm. Of course James has gone out, the idiot. I'm expecting a call saying he's stuck somewhere.

But, I'm staying here. I'm going to get cracking on a new Mutant X story. I've a build up of messages on all my e-mail accounts that need reading/answering. I should get stuck into them, but I'd rather write.

This last week I've been having a bit of a burn out about TS fic. I still love the show, but the Blair hurt/Jim rescuing comforting formula is getting stale. I hate writing that down, as there's still some writers that I'd walk over burning coals to read ( the ladies on my friends list included) but am incredibly indifferent about the rest right now. Which is sad as TS was my first *big* fandom.

It's probably a phase, hope so. It's also probably a reaction to a zine that I've been reading. I've read over and over how good the Primal Instinct zines are, so I managed to get 2 of them. The one I'm reading is so full of fanon that I could scream. Don't get me wrong, I like some fanon, but the story that I read had some kind of obsession about Jim's *giant* hands/body and waif Blair.

Sigh...I'm cold, I'm gonna get some breakfast and a coffee.

Looking at the snow through the window, I just feel so apathetic, my story is open, but instead of actually writing I'm surfing LJ's.

It doesn't help that James has fallen asleep on the couch, he's making me sleepy. In an attempted to hold of the bordom I stole this from [livejournal.com profile] dolimir

How can one woman make you want to tear your hair out?

My nanna just came for a visit, managed to lay on the guilt as I hadn't seen her for a few weeks "But Terri, you said you were going to come and tell me about your trip. Your grandad was ill and we needed some shopping, I was going to ask you but no one came" sheesh! Then on top of that she raved about how my brother visited her at xmas! He sees her once a year and does he get grief, no! Just in case you're wondering, he lives in the same town as me, no excuse because of distance.

Then I'm told how well my cousin's doing, how she has a great job and is so clever. Followed by, "Will James ever settle down?" Arghhhhh...James has a new job to move to, he wants to leave his present job as he hates it now, but he's been there 2 years. He's hardly flighty!

God, I love my nanna, but I cringe when I see her walking up the path.
