(no subject)

I'm seriously thinking about moving my Mutant X slash archive to another host. I'm on Geocities at the moment, and to be honest have no problems with them. But at the back of my mind is the fear that I could be deleted for TOS violation. I know it's not likely to happen, but it does sometimes. A friend of mine had her slash site shut down. I back up all the pages onto disc, but the thought of all my work being deleted is a nightmare. I've nearly 100 stories at the place, as well as the index pages.

So I've been looking at other options. The only problem is that though I can code to a certain extent, these other hosts need you to code everything. Like I said, I can code stories easily, but coding pictures, index pages, links etc is that next step up. Geocities drag and place system has worked great for that, but I really think I'm going to have to learn more complex codes...sigh.

Then again, I'll probably just keep procrastinating about this and still be at the same place next year.

In other news, I joined the new journal place journelfen. Same as LJ but designed for media fans. I found it because I've been following fandom_wank around. So I joined up, after begging for a code
