I had to go to the bank today, see an adviser about my spending. ( What buying two copies of the same DVD because it has different covers is wasting money? Who knew) So after getting some advice he swapped balances on my credit cards, gave me a loan and paid some of the high interest debts off. Of course, he only saw the ones that I wanted him to see. Many more he didn't know about...sigh.

The point to this is he discovered that James and I have no life insurance. Long story short, we do now. But life insurance, man, that makes me feel like a grown up. There's just something weird about arranging something that would only happen if you die, or your partner does. I know it's essential but it's still weird.

Now I'm going to gack a meme from Panda as I want to do something frivolous, something that my adult self wouldn't. Adult Terri has been out long enough today.
