Reading my friends page I noticed that I lot of muses have gone missing. I wonder if there's some place that is calling muses, because I swear mine's there too, drinking with [livejournal.com profile] castalie and [livejournal.com profile] dolimir missing muses. Though somehow I think my MX muse is off with [livejournal.com profile] phoenyxphiyre shal muse, probably drinking and whoring around.

Though to be honest I haven't so much lost my muse but have a long lasting attack of procrastination. Lately I'll do anything but write. I have the ideas but can't seem to get the motivation to actually open Word. I'll surf, mess with adobe elements anything but write, and now I'm starting to annoy myself.

Last night I watched the last but one episode of Fastlane. Excellent scenes with Van ill and Deaq there for him. Those two bicker and whine about one another but when it matters Deaq's there at Van's side, not leaving him for a moment. I loved it, I think I would have squeed if James hadn't been watching. Of course the hour probably helped dampen my squee factor. Damn Sky has Fastlane on at 2 in the morning now...only the hotness that is Van could keep me watching till that hour. So I loved the ep but for one thing. The bad guys in this case were English, and damn were they stereotypical. I know that stereotypes are applied to every country but these people just made me lol which rather diluted the 'badness' of them. They were supposed to be football ( soccer for those who call it that ) fans, the thing that Billie was looking for was even hidden behind Chris Sutton's shirt which was displayed in a case *g*. There was a 'authentic' english pub, which was pretty realistic but the accents, I've never heard anyone talk like that outside of a Mary Poppins film. But in all the ep was great. Billie kicked ass, and some lovely Van/Deaq moments. Perfect.

Questions posed by Panda, thanks hon!

1. Have you ever named a pet (or an inatimate object) after one of your favorite fandom characters? If so, when and what?

Yeah, and this is a little embarrassing *g* We have a tropical fish tank and we used to have a guppy. He was beautiful, with a big blue fan tail, so you know, blue=electricity=Brennan. So it was Brennan the guppy lol. Oh and our car is called BB, it stands for BlairBabe *g*

2. In which fandom have you collected the most merchandise (or fan-made stuff)?

God I've so much fandom stuff. I've every Voyager video and all the Star Trek novels and info books, as well as autographs of most characters from all 5 series and a model Voyager that sits on my tv. It's so pretty, pewter with yellow nacelles that glow. But I've also all the Mutant X dvds and videos, *loads* of glossies of the cast and Victor as well as press packs, comics, zines, Victor's two playgirls and the catalogues he's modelled in. But again for Sentinel I've about 40 zines, all the eps with bloopers etc and printed glossies. I guess in terms of sheer volume it would have to be Trek but if I keep going as I am MX and TS will over take soon.

3. Have you ever made a songvid or written for a zine?

Yeah I have. I've written about half of a MX zine with JenCat doing the other half. It's a n/c story that been driving me insane! I can't wait until it's done and I can forget about the bloody thing. But I'll still trib again as zines rock my world.

4. What is your favorite part about being involved in fandom(s)?

The people. Sometimes fandom pisses me off so much, but because of it I've met people that I never would have done normally. My closest net friends live in France and California, no way would I have met them with out fandom. Then there's all the other people that I chat to. All so different yet fandom brings us together. It doesn't matter what you do, what you look like, there's always that shared bond. No one understands fans like other fans and I love that. I was at a Trek con this year, in this posh hotel and all the 'important' people were turning up their noses, yet I didn't give a damn as I sat with my Comm badge and programmes, talking trek and fannish stuff. No one in real life really understands why I go nuts over a character or a show, but other fans not only understand but encourage. I know that other fans are not all good, but mostly they are...snugs to you all!!

5. Do you incorporate fandom into your daily real-life? (ie. do you have pics of characters anywhere at work/school, or show off to your family/co-wrokers?)

Oh yeah. I'm known as a fan, and mocked for it but what they hell, I'll never shut up. I don't work but do have my bag decorated with key rings and badges. SO I've pics of Brennan, Jesse, Blair and Jim as well as Trek badges on full display when I'm out.

Hee that was fun. Anyone else want to interview me or me to interview them just comment.

1. Okay, I've been to the UK once... How do I get to your place if I'm dumped off at Gatwick? (Just vaguely. Trying to figure out where on that island you are *wink*. I only know how to drive straight to Wales.)

Lol, thinking of coming for a visit? We shall have tea and cream cakes and talk about slash ;) Okay, from Gatwick you're miles from where I live. My place is on the east coast, just before England becomes Scotland. So leave Gatwick, point the car north-east and just drive for about 500 miles. I'll get the tea on.

2. What/who is your worst fanfic squick? Why?

It's a stupid one but Jim Ellison cross dressing. I read n/c, abuse, death, kink, anything like that but I read a story where Jim dressed as a woman for fun and was scarred for life. It's just wrong and it makes me cringe thinking about it. I'd rather read femme!Blair getting fucked by a goat than Jim in a dress...shudder.

3. Why BSB? Why not one or more of the other boybands out there? Did you feel the same about any of the 80's boybands or did they just irritate the heck out of you back then?

ARGHHH, I didn't think anyone had taken notice of my fall to the glittery side *g* Why BSB, one reason, Kevin Richardson, he's hot, shallow reason but...damn he's hot! I really can't explain why I'm drawn to popslash now, I've always been aware of it but never felt compelled to join the fandom. I actually like BSB music too, always have. The 80's boybands I liked, but that was because I was in my early teens then and it was part of growing up that you liked boybands, at least at my school it was. But as I grew older they did irritate me. Most are pretty interchangeable and have the same 'characters' the older one, the baby etc. Which is why this pull to popslash confuses me as I plainly see that, but I also see that, damn Kevin's hot and I want to read hot pervy sex with him in a central role. I don't know, maybe I'm reverting to my teens due to facing my 30th birthday next year eep!

edited to add -- don't think I did this question right reading back. Why BSB and not some other group? I said that I like BSB music and I do. They have some good songs, both ballads and upbeat. I always want to dance when I listen to Everybody and Larger than Life, while the slower songs seem to have feeling behind them. Plus I've seen the boys sing live, in the middle of an interview just start singing together and they're *good* They have real talent and it shows.

4. Salad cream. In the fridge or in the cupboard?

The fridge, has to be cold, nothing worse than warm salad cream.

5. What mutant power would you like? Why?

I love this question, and btw, big points for you knowing me so well! I'd love to be able to go invisible. Not just for pervy reasons, though that would be one, but because I'm nosy and I'd love to listen to what people talk about in private and look at people's homes. God, just call me peeping Terri lol

Great questions!
