Finally back in the land of living after a miserable weekend. I swear if it wasn't for the hearing thing I would have scooped my ears out with a spoon. Total shooting pain behind my right ear, there was no way that I could sit at my desk, just looking at the screen made me feel sick. So I spent the weekend doped on painkillers and watching tv. Saw Titanic again and cried, Project X and cried, rented Jackass the movie and cried laughing.

Feel much better now though, well apart from still being a bit zombified, you know that state when you're on the mend but still feel a bit fragile. The fact they're digging up the road next to my house isn't helping. Drilling isn't good for a residual headache at all.

But I did get an idea when I was just lying about. A cracked out idea maybe, have to discuss it with Castalie, my TS partner in crime *g*

Okay, about to attempt the friends list. Lets have a bet on how many skips it'll be.

I've an idea that I want to run past people. Another step in the grand plan that Castalie and I have to take over TS fandom ;)

I'm thinking about setting up a Secret Santa Xmas TS story exchange. Writers would sign up and they'd be given the name of another writer and would have to write a xmas based story for them to a requirement that the recipient would provide. EG J/B angsty. Everyone that requests a story would have to write something for someone else, or if you're a non writer would get someone to sponsor you. ie another writer would promise to write two stories.

No one would know who was writing for them until they receive their story. There would be a web site but it won't go live until say 2 weeks after the story exchange so people can enjoy an exclusive story.

This is all in the planning stages now, and it might not work yet. But if it does I think it could be a good thing.

I know it'll be a lot of work, and I'm probably crazy but Castalie and I are a good team *g* I'm going to set up a Yahoo group later, but if anyone has any comments I'd love to hear them.

This will be gen and slash hopefully.

Sorry for everyone that sees this twice, I know castalie and I seem to post in pairs a lot *g*

I've been hashing out the Sentinel Secret Santa and it's going ahead. I've set up a Yahoo Group and there's a link to the rules there. People are welcome to join but right now we're still fine tuning things. I know it seems Christmas is ages away, but we have to set up the data base and still give people time to write. Right now the group will be to thrash out deadlines etc. Secret Santa assignments won't be given out until later.

I want this to be bi-fictional. I'm so pleased that sentinel_thurs is going so well for both slash and gen that I'd love it to continue for this project too.

In other matters. I was just invited to join a Darren Hayes community, which was cool. I like Darren, I preferred his music in Savage Garden but I'll still support him. I've been looking at the comm and it seems good, it's just I got twitchy when I saw that there were kids in there, about 12-14. It shouldn't matter but it just freaks me a little.

My nanna came to visit not long ago. Should have known that she would when the house looked like a bomb had dropped, but I got off lightly as she said I didn't look very well. She's so tactful *g*
