I've just had a reply from my mail to Jenny.

Now this may sound like a little thing, but I'm so freaking happy I could do the snoopy dance.

I may be only able to talk by replying to a mail, but still...

ETA: I just read Jenny's post talking about something on the MX mailing list, so went to have a look. All I can say is WTF!? Why would anyone join a list about slash without knowing what it means? I've just been veering between hysterical laughter and disbelief that someone can be so freaking dumb. Posting, 'I've nothing about homosexuality but what's that got to do with Mutant X?' on the MX slash list makes me want to do a Dobby and bash my head against a wall.

Years ago I didn't know what slash meant, but I didn't go and join a slash list and ask stupid questions before I found out. Jenny, I admire your restraint in answering her.

Just been to deliver my dad's birthday cards and he's gone away on holiday, it also looks like he's retired from the fire service at last. He's a fireman and has came to the end of his career. It's just annoying that he didn't say anything. It's not malicious, just he's with another woman now and has a family he sees more than us. They're not married, just engaged, which is just as well. The last thing I want is 4 more siblings *g*

I've been reading the most fantastic popslash end of world AU, and it showed The End up so much. This one was so crisp, with the writing pared down so the reading was edgy and just perfect. It's how I want to write when I grow up, when I can get out of the habit of needing ten words when one would do. I'm actually in the mood to get C3 of The End done now, but I want to get this nslash done first.

Which is driving me nuts. All my other stories have been planned out, i knew what I wanted to write, and wrote it. This one keeps on changing on me. Started as a trickyfish but it looks like it's going to end as a trickc, which is *not* how I thought it would end. Well it could still be a trickyfish with a broken hearted JC, but that's a bit cold.

Had a nice surprise earlier when I was reading the newspaper, and there was a tiny picture of Kevin in Chicago. That's what I like, random pics of BSB, even if they are minuscule.
