(no subject)

In-laws came last night then we all went out for a birthday drink. Ended at the local family pub as usual, it's a lovely place but one day I'd like to go somewhere where balloons at the door aren't part of the decor *g* We had a nice, if noisy night. As it was still belting down with rain the pub was pratically empty and I only wanted to strangle BIL about 5 times, which was good.

James had a good first day, the company are arranging an adapted desk for him and he's getting his own parking spot near the door which is fantastic. Had to laugh when he came home as he's been given homework, you should have seen his face *g*

This morning I woke to find the freezer door hadn't been shut and it had defrosted. Why that didn't happen last week when all I had in there was apple pie and fish I don't know. As it is I've boxes of chicken nuggets etc that will have to be eaten. But a IM chat soon drove some of the annoyance away. Talking of which. Meg I've no idea what happened this morning, you just went away. And just when we were talking about dark kinky sex...sigh.

I did get a great post. My first christmas card, thanks Silver_Dreams! and 2 sdb DVD's. Better than bills any day. I posted my cards yesterday, so hopefully they'll get there soon.

Today I'm going to write, I have to. The mail about how long's left for the SeSa nearly gave me a heart attack! As did the comment thread in my last post. Elf-head, Santa slash! I love my comments so much!
