I'll give you all one guess where I'm going tonight. Yes, that's right, shopping. I swear I don't know anyone that loves to shop as much as James does. Since he started this new job and is back home by 5 all he wants to do is go shopping at night.

But at least the new alarm worked this morning, well it worked in conjunction with the old one. I woke up to Travis singing, which was weird. I still say it's far too early to get up but at least when I'm staggering around with my eyes closed I can listen to music at the same time.

I've been wrapping presents today and I always love doing that. Surrounded by tape and paper, bows and tags as the Christmas tree lights the room with it's colourful glow. I did the bath bombs we bought at Lush and had a total glitter overload by the time I'd finished. There's glitter in my hair, on my clothes, on the floor, but you know what? I don't care! Two more presents were delivered and I had a little flirting session with the postman *g* Hey, he's young, cute with gorgeous black curly hair, what am I supposed to do? He keeps calling me the most popular person on the estate with all the cards and parcels that are coming *g* Talking of which. [livejournal.com profile] adelate your card came today hon. It's gorgeous and your message made me smile so much! Thank you!

This will surprise no one but apparently my mail is fucking up again. So if anyone sent anything important and I didn't reply assume I didn't get it :(

There's also kerfuffling going on, but you know what? I'm happy reading about all the concert trips and Christmas stuff. That may be me burying my head in the sand but that's the way I like it. Anyway, have you ever looked at sand? Fascinating stuff, all crystally and beautiful up close ;)

And now I meme as I wait to go shopping yet again.

It's amazing what you can do with a hockey stick and a washing line. We've been putting our outside lights up but there was no way I was going up a ladder to the roof. So we had this system of tying the lights to the line and pulling it to the top windows where I used the hockey stick to get them over the porch roof. I have to say they look good, and we only dropped the line once, which was pretty amazing really.

I must admit that it's one trend that I love, people decorating the outsides of their homes for Christmas. They look so pretty. Now all I have to do is finish decorating inside and we're done.
