I've just woke up from having a nap, so am all sleepy just now. But I have a huge mug off coffee at my side and a bowl of tomato pasta so soon all will be right with my world. I sorta fell asleep on the couch watching TV and woke up nearly two hours later, so yes, I am a lazy creature. However, at least I fell asleep after the repairman had gone. I hate being in the house alone when workmen are here. I never know what to do or where to go. Do I stand chatting to him? James does but he talks to anyone. So I tend to say hello, talk about the problem then hover in case he needs me. The result of that is my kitchen is looking fine today, being as I stayed in there for nearly an hour. I even shined the hob *g*

So I've just read the flist and am tempted by xoverau's challenges. Which is a bad thing. But I've seen a lyric that will fit a story perfectly for the Joey challenge. Just waiting to see if it's okay to use a Choey that I intend to extend and rework.

Going to eat now then tackle my in-box. *shivers at the thought of it*

Love that film so much, beautiful River, a young Wesley Crusher *g* Corey Fieldman and Jerry O'Connell, who would have thought he'd grow up so hot?! And a baby Kiefer Sutherland too. The Brat pack at it's finest. That so brings back my teenage years.

I've signed up for xoverau's Joey challenge. This is despite having a list of story commitments a mile long. I've always known I wasn't that sharpest knife in the drawer and this proves it. But I couldn't resist. See a few months ago I wrote a Choey story, Fear Based Responses. bachelor_girl and patchworkdragon helped me a lot with it at the time, but I've been thinking about doing a follow up combined with redoing the original story and the challenge was a perfect opportunity to do that, and the lyrics that I picked were perfect

So, I've spent the last day or so telling myself that Stand by Me isn't slashy, because they're babies! I'd managed to fool myself when seiyaharris totally undid all my good work. Now all I can think of is Chris and Gordie sitting on that log and what could have happened after. My ability to see slash everywhere is a scary thing at times, and that ability isn't helped by certain people *cough/becca/cough*

Just imagine me sitting thinking about Gordie and Chris, Google is open in front of me. My hands start to move toward the keyboard, I'm mentally screaming NOOOOOOO as they type in Stand by Me slash But there's results and I have to look. Guess where they're at? FFNet, man I've laughed so much this last half hour. Look at this choice phrase.
