(no subject)

I received a statement from one of my store cards today, opened it and saw that they'd put my credit limit up by £1000! At first I was all, OMG and had the money spent within minutes. The store card's for a group of shops and I was imagining all the new clothes I could get, and a TV and all sorts of things. But then my brain kicked in. We're struggling to pay the debts we have now, another £1000 on top of that would be stupidity, but man, I want to spend it so much. But I won't and I'm pissed that the company just shoves that amount of credit onto my card without asking if I wanted it. All that money and I can't touch it. You know sometimes it sucks to be a grown-up.

Still writing ficlets, did another TrickC last night now next on the list is a Brennan/Lance, which will have to be an AU I think. That is unless Lance is hiding mutant abilities under that cool stare ;) I've also been thinking about the one patchworkdragon asked for and got excited when I realised I could sort of legitimately tie Chris (Nsync) and Blair ( The Sentinel) together. Think about it. Blair once said that he took a psychology course at university, so did Chris. What's to say they didn't meet there, okay Blair went to school at Ranier but he could have went on an exchange or something. Okay the time lines may be out a little. Blair was born in 1969, Chris was born in 1971 but it's close enough to fudge for a ficlet, and ... I'm thinking about this too much aren't I? *g*

I finally finished OotP last night, and have to say I thought the end was a bit of an anti-climax. The death was pretty tame I thought. Maybe because surfing earlier I found someone's LJ who talked about the book with very detailed spoilers and couldn't resist reading. I really enjoyed the book, loved Ron, loved Neville and thought the scene where the Weasley twins created the swamp, then swept out of the school on their liberated brooms was the best thing ever! I love those twins, though I horrified myself by thinking about asking for twin slash recs. What with reading Cartercest and now thinking about this ( twincest?) I'm thinking I have a thing for incest. But really I shouldn't be surprised, I seem to have a thing about a lot of things *g*

Oh well, off to write. If anyone still wants a ficlet feel free to ask here I'm still taking requests.
