Want to know a good way to make sure you wake up in the morning? Make a mix CD which has Linkin Park included, set your alarm to play the CD then you can shoot out of bed when Chester screams 'Shut up when I'm talking to you' in your ear. I had to sit and listen to CMAR before my heart stopped thumping. But at least I was up *g*

Some more advice, don't read The Wednesday Thing when you're feeling down because by the end you'll be ready to crawl back into bed and not come out.

I wasn't online last night, which actually reminds me of a third piece of advice. Don't turn off your computer when someone is using theirs connected to yours via a network, because it turns their internet connection off too. I swear sometimes I don't have a brain cell in my head. So yeah, I stayed offline because I've managed to mess something up that was important to me so had to take a step back for a while.

But that did mean I could watch TV. Though I was disappointed at Highlander because Richie was only in it for about five minutes at that. Instead we had a load of shots of a bare chested Duncan running through the woods looking all manly. Well, I think he was supposed to, I thought he looked funny, but that's me *shrug* This thing about Richie has taken me unawares. I don't like him like my guys, in a OMG hot hot hot lusting sexual way, but I think he's cute and I'm enjoying his character. He's a little curly haired moppet and I just want to squish his cheeks -- you can decide yourself what cheeks I mean ;) Then I remember what happens I get all sad for him :(

I'd just like everyone to know that seiyaharris and I are down in hell at the moment, talking about smut and toasting crumpets and marshmallows over the fire. It's good and we're having fun. Now I just have to think of what cracked out badfic I want to write next. I'm thinking it'll have to be something incesty as that seems to be our theme at the moment. How about Joey/Steve Fatone...man, I've just squicked myself there *g*

Before I go, castalie I was reading an Oz/nsync cross yesterday. Talk about fandoms colliding in a bad way!

I'm just sorting things out for my Joey story when I'm hit by the fact that it's set in the era of bad hair and braces, and I'm all, OMG the chance to write the scene I've wanted for so long, Joey kissing Chris, feeling the metal under his tongue, hands wrapped in the bad hair, the clumpy dread things twisting through his fingers. Which you know would blow my mind. But then came the let down that Joey is not me, and maybe Joey wouldn't have a braces and bad hair kink. In fact I'd say for certain he doesn't as he's repressed in the story so fantasising about the bad hair and braces would be a step too far considering he's having a problem even admitting he likes Chris. So no hot sex scene.

I will find a way to get that scene in one day though. I'm sure JC would appreciate the feel of metal on his tongue ;)

I enjoyed Highlander today, very little Richie again but that was compensated by the amusement of watching Duncan stumble around with some kind of brain damage. I have seen some later episodes and all I can say is AP must have had some acting lessons before then because, man he's stiff in these early ones.

In happier news, James just asked if I wanted some DVDs from nsyncland for my birthday, and of course I said yes. So now I have to look through the ones I have, some of which are still unlabeled, and decided which ones I want. I really should keep a list or something.
