Today has been one of those blah days. Woke up early again ready for mortgage man, luckily the house was still nice and shiny. Oh and before I go on, may I say why does no one visit when it's like that? Days when all the couches are covered, the floors a mess, washing on the kitchen floor and dirty dishes in the sink it's guaranteed someone will come. Yesterday, when there wasn't one thing out of place, no one. Anyway, he came and within minutes I knew he couldn't help because the house needed to be a certain value and it isn't. So a wasted time there. Then we forgot the MiLs birthday which meant a quick journey food shopping and on to hers.
When I was there I was gobsmacked when she asked if I still spent all my time online, which pisses me off so bloody much. I do spend a lot of time online, but never when I have to be doing other stuff. Some people spend their nights watching tv, I'm on here. So what? Everything gets done that needs doing, I spend time with Corey and James. Then she asked why I don't submit stories to magazines. Which was a total WTF!? moment. For one thing I didn't know she knew I write, for another, I wish people would get it into their head that I'm not good enough to write like that. Just because I write fanfic it doesn't mean I can write the other stuff nor do I want to. It's just...people find out that you write and the first thing they say is why don't you get paid for doing it, as if there's something wrong with writing for the sake of it. It's just been a frustrating day, not helped by the cold that refuses to go.
Okay, happier things. I had a wonderful dream last night. One of those vivid ones where things happen that seem real, and in this case I was on holiday with a load of SDBs and Brennan. Anyone ever thought of a Nick Carter/Brennan pairing? Me neither, but I dreamt it, complete with watching them have hot monkey sex and got to listen to Chris tell me how he'd just slept with JC and Justin, which was good *g*
