Sep. 8th, 2004 01:40 pmWe all slept in this morning. It was after 8 when I woke up and it was panic stations to get to school in time. The alarm had gone off I just hadn't heard it, which suggests I need to get the other one set up too. Thanks for everyone that noticed I was annoyed last night. Like I said in comments it gets old which is why I didn't post about it.
Anyway. Happier things. I decided how to spend some of my money off nanna. A chunk's going on bills, some for clothes and the rest on indulgent things like sparkly swag. I hit up E-Bay and Nsyncland today and have bid on and ordered some stuff. I'm also keeping some money set aside for 21 Jump Street on DVD because I love that show so much. Tom Hanson was the guy I crushed on all through my early teenage years. I even babysat these horrible kids because their parents had satellite tv and I could watch Jump Street. It's a shame there's not much slash for the show out there, because Tom and Doug are so mfeo. I do have a JS zine but a lot of it was based on the end series where Tom was gone so I was disappointed.
A question for you all. Why don't people slash Joey more? Seriously, I'd like to know what you think. I've read a lot of posts about pairings and how popular they are. (Which I'm not getting into here). But in every one of those the Joey pairings are always last. Is it because he's seems too straight? Too taken? I've talked to people who say they can't slash Joey as he's too dad like and others who say he doesn't ping as the slightest bit gay but I personally love to read him slashed. Mostly with Chris but I enjoy the others on occasion too. I've also heard another reason but it makes me mad just thinking about it. So a warning. Anyone comment that Choey is the ugly pairing and I'll get very annoyed. Ugly. Some people are obviously blind.
