Despite vowing no more challenge until SeSa I caved and joined Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook Multi-Fandom Fic Challenge. I blame
trumpeterofdoom for this as I was talking to her on AIM and first, she gave me the link, second didn't stop me. Not that she was the only one to blame *glares at those people*
I think I get a thrill out of getting the assignment, fretting about it, procrastinating for weeks and writing like fury the week before, at which point I say the story sucks, scrap it and start again. It's a sickness I tell you. Look at these stats. I've written 20 stories, 4 of which are under 1000 words and so don't really count. Out of the rest 11 were written for challenges and two for birthdays which are sort of unofficial challenges. That's just wrong.
Just for my own interest really. Pairing stats are. TrickC (7) JuC (3) Timbertrick (3) Trickyfish (1) Chris/all (1) JoLa (1) Choey (1) Nick/JC&Joey/JC (1) Kevin/Nick (1) Kevin/Howie (1). I've written three JuCs! What the hell was I thinking!? ;)
So yes, go join the challenge. Don't make me feel lame on my own.
Unrelated, the family dog went to the vets today. He's old, over 18 and is doing great for his age. He still chases balls and is really happy. He has arthritis but tablets take care of that, the problem is he has a huge tumour on his foot that's growing between his toes. It doesn't seem to hurt him but today the vet said it's better to get it removed before it turns ulcerous and there's no skin to stitch up the wound. Problem is if he gets an anaesthetic there's no guarantee he'd wake up again. Mam has to decide and man, I don't envy her the decision, because Brock is fine and happy apart from this tumour. She takes him for a walk and ends up at mine most nights and I just love him you know? He's been there for nearly two thirds of my life
Moving on. I'll Justin picspam tomorrow, I've been too busy to upload anything today.
