Aug. 30th, 2005 10:45 amI didn't mention it in my last post, but we spent most of yesterday at the hospital. James had tripped over the guy ropes while we were camping, he blames the dark, I blame the cans of larger he'd been drinking, but anyway, he hurt his back. It wasn't getting better so we went to the walk in clinic and stayed there the rest of the afternoon. They had a tv attached to the wall and by the time we left we'd watched The Great Escape, the news, the football results show and half of a detective movie. I also read anything I could get my hands on, which tended to be magazines years old. I mean, nothing shows you're in a waiting room more than realising you're reading the tv guide from last year, but still not putting it down, because OMG! it's better than not looking at the man with the unnatural lump on his wrist or the old woman with a bloody bandage on her head. James is okay though, he's apparently irritated his sciatic ( I think ) nerve, so is on tablets for that.
Fannish wise. I finally saw some episodes of House, and what a cool show it is. I saw the second from and last episode, which probably wasn't the best order to see them, but both James and I enjoyed them a lot.
Now a meme I gacked from
