Sep. 4th, 2006 07:50 pmI forgot to mention one part of my holiday that may continue to scar me for life. Therefore, I must share. Our caravan was surrounded on one side by a veranda. So, the first day I was out there with Keira, we were colouring in when suddenly I heard someone walk into the room behind me. Now, the caravan walls were really thin so you could hear anything above a whisper, so the door opening and locking was very clear. I kept on colouring in, then eventually looked up, and promptly looked away.
Problem was we'd sat next to the toilet window. The window that looked frosted, but I soon realised wasn't frosted enough. At all. In that you could see nearly everything, and at that time I could see the FiL's ass as he arranged himself and sat down. I was mortified, but what could I do? Keira was having fun and didn't want to go inside, and that's without addressing the problem that at that point I was the only one who knew you could see everything through that window. Considering there was an occupied caravan next to us, well I could imagine them having a weeks peep show. But still, the thought of walking inside and saying what I'd seen ... just no.
Then James came outside. Unfortunately when I looked up at him I saw the FiL again, the white expanse of ass, the unrolling of toilet roll as he stood. At which point I squeaked in horror and pointed, handing over the situation to James. He promptly spent five minutes laughing, then gleefully went to tell the rest of the in laws I'd just seen his dad's ass. At least the blind was left constantly down after that.
Another holiday story to share. Tex was staying at mams, on Friday it seems he went crazy and destroyed her kitchen. He's wrecked her fridgefreezer, chewing and pulling off the seals. Ate all the frozen food, dirtied the walls with paw prints, it was just chaos and I have no idea why he did it. He often eats mail, but destruction on that scale? I just don't know what got into him. So now I owe mam either a new fridgefreezer or need to find seals for the one she's got. Plus I had to spend time today cleaning up there. At least I had Corey to help. I was positive he was due back at school today. In fact I got his uniform ready last night and sent him to bed at his usual school night time. Thankfully I found the letter that said he doesn't go back until tomorrow, otherwise he'd have been there alone. Oh well, at least he's organised now.
