nopseud's tomato soup, and oh my goodness. It was so good. Made with fresh good stuff and eaten with hunks of crusty bread and just. Hmmmm. I'm even considering buying a little blender because if home made soup is that nice it needs to be made more often.
Today I had plans to potter around and make more tomato based goodies to freeze. First though it was the weekly visit to see nanna. We get there and she starts to throw out broad hints that she wants to go out for a drive. Which, okay. It would be a nice, if unexpected, way to spend the afternoon. We ended up at Tynemouth. James called in at the hotel to check our reservations for Connotations, and then we drove along the front and had chips for dinner sitting on benches overlooking the ocean.
Two days ago I was comment ficcing a most insane story where MCR and Panic are magically made tiny. It's the most ridiculous thing ever, but somehow when I added the various replies together it was 1500 words long, and various enablers suggested I finish the story. Which I'm going to do now. Or else I may just sit and indulge myself thinking of other things the tiny Panic and MCR people can get up to. It seems like a good way to spend a sunny late Sunday afternoon.
