It was a flash of silver that kept moving in a small area, going to look out of the window I saw it was a helium Good Luck balloon attached to the fence of the house opposite. It wasn't actually in the garden, it looked more like it had blown away from somewhere and the weight had become tangled in the fence. Goodness knows where it came from, hundreds of miles away or from the local shops, but, at that moment it had came down to earth and become trapped. see

It went some time in the afternoon, either taken in by the person who owns the house or off on its journey again. I hope it was the latter.
James is a poorly bunny right now. He got bitten by a bug and has had a nasty allergic reaction, he's on steroid cream and antibiotics and went to yet another doctors appointment this morning and got even more tablets to take as it looks like the infection is moving into the joints of his arms. He's got 24 hours to see if this combination kicks in and after that it's off to the hospital and maybe IV antibiotics, which is a problem as due to how his arms are fixed getting antibiotics like that is almost impossible. Other than that things are chugging along. Corey's two weeks into his 6 weeks off and spends his time in his bedroom or out with his friends, the veggies are growing like crazy, the animals are their usual chaotic, adorable selves. Same old, same old really.
My amazingly scientific question of yesterday revealed the following results. Lots of poeple have read Lord of the Flies. Lots of people haven't. While the conch shell reference could be about the book it could also be due to Mikey wanting to talk to himself or others using it -- which gives me a mental image of a very sad Mikey, his phone smashed in the crash onto the island, using a conch shell as a form of communication -- that MCR should have a conch shell in interviews so they all get to speak, that Mikey has a very awesome sense of humour, and is also hot as fire.
I posted my ways+1 story and people liked it, which is fantastic, my little under-age sex, cross-dressing and incestuous threesome story that could. I also got a story in return, which is always awesome. Unsurprisingly Surprising. a very lovely Mikey/Gerard/Ryan.

This is on top of the other fantastic ideas including the decorated gnomes Mikey and Frank had in their apartment, complete with grass and tombstones for the dear departed gnomes, Mikey being in an Amazing Race situation involving a gnome, the desire to get beard bonus any way possible and the fact that MCR are gnome stealers who send postcards from the gnomes from all around the world before Gerard sets up his own gnome retreat. Really, you all indulge me terribly, and I love you for it.
