Next year we intend to save up and buy a real green house. The plastic one we have now was really cheap and it's showing, with seams giving way. Plus, we've discovered that we like gardening a lot. It's hard work at times but so worth it.

James goes back to work on Wednesday. It was his usual day off tomorrow anyway so the doctor signed him off for today so he could have those extra two days. So, two more days of him sitting asking me to look up crossword puzzle clues even though his own laptop is right next to him. Not that that annoys me. Not at all.

After a comment yesterday about Mikey not wearing colours all I can think about is a Gabe/Mikey bodyswap fic. How 'Mikey' would suddenly start wearing neon while 'Gabe' emerges totally dressed in black. Then if they had to perform it would be chaos, with Cobras almost booed off-stage when Gabe didn't interact with the crowd and Mikey would just beam and strut around the stage -- after he'd been peeled out of his bright orange shirt and lime green pants. Just thinking about it is making me laugh.

Looking at my h/c bingo card I noticed that I have three squares in a line. I just need to write stroke and post-traumatic stress disorder and I could call bingo, not that it matters as I'm going for a blackout. It's wrong to think about strokes in terms of hooker fics and johns having what looks like a stroke in the middle of sex leading to even more traumatised boys, yeah? Do not judge me! . I am thinking about using the prompt in a roundabout way for that square, because writing an actual stroke would take a lot of sensitive writing, also something long in order not to trivialise what's a devastating thing.

You made me sound much smarter than I actually am and am thrilled that such a wide variety of stories were mentioned. ♥ to you all. I'm still working through my flist and replying to the meme. You're all so talented, it's really quite sickening how much.

I've finally started to upload my popslash stories to AO3. It's so different to uploading the bandom ones because for popslash everything is so much more casual. Ratings, summaries, hell, even pairings sometimes, popslash needs none of that nonsense! Which is why I have 6 plus years worth of stories with little more than a title and word count. I think after I've finished uploading those I'll work on my masterlist because it's way overdue for an overhaul. I may even go crazy and add some summaries. Or you know, leave it for ages, forget to add things to it and end up frantically searching my journal months from now to find stories I vaguely remember posting.
