Jul. 21st, 2011 07:44 amThe other week we were at nanna's and she told us she'd given my brother money to buy a lawnmower, so, because she likes to keep things fair she was going give us money to buy a fire. At the moment we have a fireplace but no actually fire in it as we ran out of money when we refurbished the living room, so a fire is needed. It's just a case of finding one that fits now. We haven't actually got a chimney so it'll just be an electric slot in kind, so that's what we're going to look for this morning.
Also hopefully pick up our new hoover. Our old one broke a while back and ever since I've had to vacuum by using the little brush attachment thing on the end of the hose, which is time consuming, especially as four cats leave a lot of hair. And then that hose broke too, so a new hoover was needed. No lie, I'm looking forward to hoovering taking minutes instead of the chunk of time it does now as I scuttle around with my hose and brush.

28) Have you ever collaborated with anyone else, whether writing together, or having an artist work on a piece about your fic?

sperrywink and mahoni. Both of those happened because we'd started chatting about fic in comments and just kept going until we had an actual story. For the first I ended up with Linchpin which is Frank/Mikey/Pete set Summer of Like. It was so much fun writing that, even though Sperrywink writes much more sex than I do so she kept writing these hot segments and then stopping so I had to to carry on the scene and force my prudish fingers to actually write. The second was It Might Be Instamatic Flu, the story where Bob is de-aged to a 4 year old. Writing that was amazing, I laughed so often and wee!Bob remains close to my heart.
29) What is your current project or projects/
I'm writing my #fuckingbbb, the rough draft of which is due tomorrow, which is why lately it feels like all I have been doing is writing the damn thing. I'm at the stage where I could write one scene and wrap it up, but know writing more would make for a much better story. So I'm going to be a good writer and actually settle in to slog through those last scenes instead of giving in to temptation and having a, they have sex, the end, type of ending.
After that's finished though, I've told myself no signing up for things until my WIPs are finished, and I mean it this time.
