Clearing some tabs. It'll be November soon and that means the start of mini_nanowrimo and wrisomifu Both are designed to support and encourage you to write during Nov, but the second is much more relaxed and themed around how writing feels like getting blood out of a stone at times. There's also no word counts to pledge upfront if that's an issue. I like both in different ways, so if you want a challenge next month, I'd suggest checking out both and seeing if either fit.

James has moved onto 12 hour shifts and is on day shift at the moment, one starting at 7. This means we've been getting up at 5:30 and that's just not right. The world shouldn't even start before 6. It also means that I'm ready for bed far too early.

Still, getting up today I got to see all the new pictures from last night's concert, and how Gerard's changed hair colour was the talk of twitter and tumblr. But also, costumes! More costumes before they're the geekiest and most awesome of bands. Also, the hottest. ( Pictures you'll have all seen, but I like pretty things in my journal. )

I'm also liking the return of the panda hoodie. I love that.
