Thank you to _bettina_, zelda_zee, madamebeetroot, sunsetmog romanticalgirl ( love the Mikey and Pete penguins ♥ ) sperrywink ♥ , piratesunk, augustuscaesar digital_diva, greedy_dancer, chalcopyrite, dangerous_47 ( your story was adorable! ), pensnest and turlough, thank you so much for the calendar and pot holder. ( which I now know the technical name of after seeing other posts *g* ) it's gorgeous, and I'm very happy to have a calendar this year ♥ I also have a card from someone from Germany ( Fleur? ) I can't match user name to, but was very much loved when it arrived.

I think at this point I should give up on the post I've had in drafts for over a week. So to sum up.

Most Christmas gifts are now bought, wrapped and under the tree. Cards have been written and the second lot will be sent tomorrow. Where no doubt I'll get told that do I know that some won't get there before Christmas? And yes, yes I do. I'm always amazed when any of my stuff gets to where it's supposed to be on time.

Haven't talked to mam all this week after she sent nasty texts to James last Saturday. When told why I was annoyed at her she said, 'why, I didn't send the texts to her'. And really, it doesn't work that way. I'll be going up there later though, I don't need this hanging over our heads during Christmas. And I did go up, seriously, one day I'll post an entry the same day I start it.

I've watched all of Once Upon a Time and ( cut for spoilers )

Corey broke up from school on Friday, and yesterday he helped his dad paint a giant reindeer and snowman for the Cubs Christmas party tonight. Watching them work together was like a mini Christmas miracle, no arguing, no butting heads. It was kind of amazing. We also went to see the relatives yesterday and then took Kayleigh and Kay to a giant craft shop as they've started selling lolly pop trees.

I signed up for picfor1000 I think this will be my 7th year for the challenge. Yikes. This year the theme is perfection, and considering my own personal challenge is to always write something that features the Way bros only, I guess this means 1000 words of them telling each other how awesome they think they other is.

Today I get to clean house while Corey, James, Kayleigh and Kay go to the Metro Centre. I think I've got the best end of that deal.
