Waking to new MCR music is the best way to wake!

That these are only the first two songs, and we get more is just. Whoa.

I love Boy Division. I love Tomorrow's Money.

I love that I can imagine Bob drumming on them. Because, Bob.

Nothing in depth to say, just sheer glee about new music.

I've real life stuff to update later, but for now all I can think is BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!

I've been reading about the Trek con that happened last weekend and I ( love this photo so much )

Five captains *____*

I've seen two captains on one stage when I was at a Voyager con, but to see all five of them together. Just, wow. It gives me chills to think about it. Of course Janeway will forever be the best captain, she's kick ass to the extreme. It's been far too long since I've been to any Trek cons, I must remedy that at some point.

Which reminds me, I had a weird bandom/hockey fusion dream the other night. If you don't know I was a huge hockey fan in my teens and early 20s, following the Wasps around the country. Until they relocated and then disbanded them -- which just so you know, I still hold a grudge about.

Anyway. In this dream my Wasps got back together and I was hanging with some of the old players, but Bob was the net minder. And just what? What are you trying to say, brain?

James is off visiting his cousin today with the MiL. This cousin has a very severe case of cerebral palsy and sadly they've discovered he has cancer, too. Because of his disability, where he can't walk, talk, communicate etc, they had no way of knowing something was wrong until it was far too late, and now the only treatment he can have is to aid his passing. He's only in his 20s, too.

After that James is taking my sister grocery shopping but phoned to say he'd drive straight to her house without picking me up. Which is fine by me as it's really cold out there with the first sleety snow of the year.
