Jun. 8th, 2015 06:07 pmI've had an excellent time today at the Washington Wetland Centre. It's local to us but we haven't been for many years, so decided to change that.
I've fed geese from my hand, seen so many baby ducks and swans and flamingoes. Walked for a really long time, and enjoyed it -- apart from one steep bank. Hung out in hides, chilled at many lakes sides, and it's just been great.
But what I'm posting for is we also saw otters. Not for long as they've just had a pup, so of course were spending time with that, and the inside viewing was blocked off to give the otters some peace. But the female otter came out at feeding time, and we got photos, which I'm posting so
turlough, and others, can ( see )
Now to see if my poor aching legs can get me up the stairs to the shower.
