(no subject)

As James is at work I couldn't go to nanna's today, so I've had a very relaxed day. As it was warm and sunny I've tidied the garden up, and finally chopped up the real Christmas tree so it could be thrown away in the bin. I also pulled up the Jerusalem artichokes, and now have many many of the things and no idea what to do with them. Along with some weeding and power washing the path and decking the garden is looking much better, though sadly it looks like the solar fairy lights are completely broken and not just powering up due to lack of sun.

Normally I'd have gone for a walk up mam's, but she behaved horrendously on Friday night. It's been a while since things have happened to that extent. She's been going out drinking but coming home with only minor grumbles. Friday it all exploded, then yesterday, unlike her usual ways when she deletes the mean FB posts and sulks for a while, she went out again and did it all again on the night. Which is why I've spent the last two nights with the land line off the hook.

I just can't be bothered with her right now, especially so as on Wednesday I'm going to get my gastric balloon removed. ( cut for details and food talk )

Tonight I intend to watch more Sons of Anarchy. I'm nearly at the end of season two right now and am really enjoying the show. Though the other day I did get spoiled for the end episode, and in a horrible way, too. It was on the money saving forum I lurk on. Two groups on there have been having a battle and one person from one group was posting saying how he'd been binge watching the show, and someone from the other group came on and posted what happens at the very end. I couldn't stop myself reading as I didn't expect something like that to happen. And what's especially annoying is I've deliberately kept away from A03 etc as the one time I chanced a look I saw pairings and situations mentioned that I hadn't seen yet so I backed out at speed. Then some prize idiot decided to maliciously spoil just for the sake of it.
