Dec. 8th, 2016 05:32 pmThank you so much to
frausorge for the lovely card and
pensnest for the beautiful home made card and calendar. An excellent choice! ♥ to you both.
The wallpapering is done in the stairs and hallway. It looks lovely, I did take a photo but it was hard to capture the space in all its newly wallpapered and painted glory. But you can at least see the silver sparkly wallpaper here.
Monday we took nanna and Pauline for a Christmas dinner, and I did wear my new hells kitty dress see. I have to admit, I felt pretty good wearing it and had a nice time that day and then again on the night as I went to the scout nativity at the church. I'm not religious at all, but still think churches have a lovely feel about them, and I do enjoy singing carols and watching the bairns all dressed up with their sparkly stars and tinsel wrapped in their hair.
We've got the new bathroom suite and various other bathroom related things stashed in Corey's bedroom at the moment. They'll be coming to fit that on Monday so hopefully by this time next week nearly everything will be done.
The house is all done up in its glittery Christmas'ey shimmery over the top glory. The sparkle deer herd look amazing and the tree is weighed down with decorations. Which is just how we like it.
My bandom holidays story is off getting beta read, so that will be posted well in time.
Today the binmen came early which meant the wheelie bin didn't get emptied. That's a pain as it's full to the brim right now. After a phone call they agreed to come back out on Tuesday, which isn't much help really. I guess it'll be black sacks stashed in the greenhouse until then.
But that's the only minor blip in what otherwise has been a busy but nice week so far. Tomorrow is the day the Soap and Glory mega set is the Boots star gift. It always flies off the shelf but as I get the set every year we'll be heading off tomorrow to try and grab one.
