(no subject)

Today we've booked a holiday to Lanzarote at the beginning of June for a week. Just a cheapie, and it'll mean tightening our belts for a while, but I'm really not looking forward to next month and needed something good in it. Which is a shame as June should have been great as it's when we got married, June is when we flew for the first time last year, had our holiday in the Canaries and I felt like the world was at my feet, without knowing it was actually going to crash around me within weeks of getting home.

Reclaiming some of June seems like the right idea, and going the date we have seems right as it's the date mam booked our honeymoon night in the castle.

I'm still a bit, eeep that we've done it. But the place looks lovely and I'm looking forward to sun, sand, swimming and hopefully lots of sunshine.
