Dec. 5th, 2020 04:17 pmThank you to
frausorge and
doomdays for the cards, and more thanks to
turlough for the sparkle deer that arrived this morning. It's beautiful and a splendid addition to the herd! I got the tree out yesterday and started to decorate, and seeing how many sparkle deer had been sent by friends made me smile so much.
Like I said above, I've been decorating for Christmas and thought I'd share some photos. Also behind the cut are some pictures of Milo and Murphy. The vets they go to do a calendar of all the client cats so I submitted two photos, one of Murphy and Milo together and one of just Murphy, and they were both picked. So now they're both calendar boys. The calendar is a great way to promote the vets and also raise money for Consett Cats, the rescue we got Murphy from, so of course, we had to buy one.

In non-Christmas news. I was phoned by the blood people a few days ago. I'd put my name down to donate plasma when I saw they needed people to donate it who had recovered from Covid. The criteria were, needed to be recovered and a plus was to live in travelling distance to a donation centre, male and a regular blood donor. As I didn't fit all of those I wasn't sure if I'd be selected, but I was and have to go get a test to check how many antibodies I have and if my veins are okay. The only problem is, due to a lack of slots that test is Christmas Eve morning. But, it should take less than an hour so shouldn't affect the day much at all.
