It's a lovely spring day today, bright, warm and blowy, so much so I wish I had washing to put on the line, but I don't so the good drying day will have to be wasted. Of course, heavy rain is forecast to arrive in an hour or so, so once I post this I may go grab an hour in the garden.

Especially so as I've just bought some trailing geraniums from Lidl. I only went in for some sugar snaps but came out with the plants, sugar snaps, a packet of Dreamies and new potatoes. But, such is Lidl with its bewitching displays.

When James came home last night he was telling me that someone has spray-painted bright yellow penises around the potholes in the roads near where he works. Googling it today I saw it's apparently a known thing. and has happened in quite a few places worldwide. I guess it's one way of drawing attention to a problem, though a little startling to anyone driving by.
