turpsHaving no challenges to do is weird, but at the same time so satisfying. I need to tweak the timbertrick a little and that's it until SeSa. I know I've said this before and been laughed at but I'm never taking on so many at once again. I don't know how I expect to do good stuff if I'm writing so fast.
I realised I haven't really updated rl wise for a while. Things are okay here. James has been offered a job which isn't as good as it sounds. It's selling insurance but commission only and cold calling. He wants to accept, I don't want him to which has led to lets just say a few heated discussions. The money is great but it has to be as I imagine the job will be very difficult. I mean what happens if he sells nothing? We'll have no money. Basically he's panicking ( I get a count down most days. 4 weeks until we have no money coming in ) but he's had a load of interviews yet wants to take the first one offered, plus he's not really cut out for cold calling and I say that and get told that I don't believe in him, but I do it's just I'm trying to see the wider picture. And now you'll see why I've avoided mentioning this here as I babble like an idiot.
We started the painting and discovered that the paint lied and didn't cover things with one coat, meaning the wallpaper needs stripping. Which is a job I hate, which explains why only one corner of the room is half done. My living room looks like a bomb hit just now, we threw away a wall unit which means I have nowhere for my CDs to stay or my bits and bobs so they're all on the floor. I can't bring myself to care though, as long as there's paths to move we'll be okay for a while.
I got an appointment for the hospital, the end of Feb next year. Which yeah, it's a good thing I'm not really ill. Of course if I'm still having to go to the doctors twice a week next year I may beat my head on the desk a few times.
LOL. No wonder I haven't updated rl wise, I've nothing to say. Oh but wait, yes I have. James came home yesterday and said he had a present. He made me open the bag with much ceremony and inside was an Nsync hits clip, which is a nifty thing indeed *g*
Behind the cut are some spare icons I was messing with when I made this one *points up* If anyone wants them shout, just don't expect much.
