turpsThe in laws went just before 10 last night. At around 4 the SiL said they'd stay here until the BiL could pick them up and take them home. Which was nice of them but really James was perfectly willing to take them back much earlier than that. However, I do have a rather good looking kitchen right now, it'll look even better once I scrape up all the paint splatters.I also had fun playing with my niece, toddlers are so much fun, even when they're snot monsters and breathing germs.
Two reminders for myself though. Next time someone comes to paint your kitchen make sure the box full of old TS zines, some of which have pretty explicit covers, are moved from on the kitchen table chairs. I know it's a good place to keep them normally as no one actually sits at the table but I don't think the FiL knew where to look when he moved the box. Also, sneaking a look at LJ was a bad idea and you knew it. When you click the flist and see a big porny picture you've no one else to blame but yourself. Not that the In laws would be worried, in fact I think the SiL and MiL would be interested in the whole slash thing, but I really didn't want to test that theory out *g*
ETA: People asked to see pictures of the Chris calendar CJ made me, so I've just taken some and they're behind
The pictures don't do the actual calendar justice at all but it'll give you an idea of just how good it looks and what a fantastic job CJ did. Every page inside is themed and that end picture, the one with the hearts? It's one of my favourite pictures of Chris ever and CJ remembered that and asked to make sure the other day and I didn't suspect a thing! So much love for CJ and her amazing gift :)

In my old room I used to have pretty explicit slashy pictures on the wall (a lot of them were even TS pictures ;-) and it was always very interesting to see the reactions of people when they stepped into my room. Hahaha! I think I shocked the poor guy who was supposed to check on the windows ;-).
And the calendar is just awesome! Wonderful! CJ did a fantastic job :-).
